Thornton-Pickard utilise ses propres obturateurs à rideau sur cette chambre à triple extension, fabriquée en très bel acajou verni, et dont les pièces métalliques sont en cuivre verni. La partie arrière et avant sont très mobiles. Celle de l'avant est à triple bascule. Elle est montée sur une fourche permettant l'étirement du soufflet, la bascule et le décentrement.
Thornton justifie le nom de modèle !
